DCF Book Talks & Challenge
We are excited to announce the start of our Dorothy Canfield Fisher (DCF) book talks and "The DCF Challenge". Once a month, Ms. Dulac from the Milton Public Library will be joining us to share and introduce us to five books on the 2015-2016 DCF Book List. As a team, we've set up the DCF Challenge and are seeing if students can read all 30 books by the end of the school year! If a student reads any five books from the list, they earn a ticket to the voting/pizza party! Copies of the books can be found at the MEMS Library, Milton Public Library, and local bookstores.

10-19: Reminder and Request
Team Mansfield Families!
This is to remind you to PLEASE send all e-mails to both Mr. Schmid and Mr. Mock. This will help insure that one of us sees your e-mail in a timely manner.
We had a situation last week where Mr. Schmid was scheduled to leave early and Mr. Mock left unexpectedly. We are doing our best to get caught up with our backlog!
Thank you for your patience!
Also, we are in the process of making bread on a daily basis! If anyone has extra flour and/or dry milk and wished to donate it to the rooms, it would be GREATLY appreciated. We have plenty of sugar, salt, butter and yeast at this time.

10-15-15: JDRF Fundraiser
We are excited to announce the start of the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) Fundraiser! Students will be bringing home a packet of paper shoes in order to help raise funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. Details about this fundraiser can be found on the packet your child is bringing home!
